Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Citeli ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Citeli is an AI visibility and marketing platform that helps businesses monitor and improve how they appear in AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and similar models). Features include:

• AI brand mention monitoring across multiple AI models
• Visibility scoring and trend tracking
• Competitor share-of-voice analysis
• AI-generated optimization recommendations
• Weekly visibility reports via email
• Social media content drafting (Growth/Pro plans)

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with Growth plan features. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, your account will be downgraded unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

Trial accounts are limited to one per person/business. Creating multiple trial accounts to circumvent limits is prohibited.

Paid plans are billed monthly via LemonSqueezy. Prices are displayed in USD and subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Upgrades/Downgrades: Plan changes take effect immediately. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

You agree not to use Citeli to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Scan competitors' brands with intent to harm or deceive
• Abuse the free scan feature (automated scraping, rate limit bypass)
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the platform
• Interfere with other users' access to the Service
• Use the AI content generation features to produce spam, misinformation, or harmful content

Citeli uses third-party AI models (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity) to generate reports, suggestions, and content drafts. This content is provided for informational purposes only.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before publishing or acting on it.

AI visibility scores and rankings are estimates based on sampled prompts and available models. They do not represent exhaustive coverage of all AI systems.

Your Data: You retain ownership of all data you upload or generate through the Service, including scan results, competitor data, and custom prompts.

Our Platform: Citeli's software, design, branding, and algorithms are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without express written permission.

License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription period.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citeli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay subscription fees.

You may terminate your account at any time via the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Citeli is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
